The GOP is a Party of Cons
TFG (the former guy) was born with a silver spoon in his mouth which he promptly swallowed, blocking air to his brain long enough to become mentally disabled. He’s the epitome of cons, grifts and outright lies. No one slings BS better than him. More importantly, no is better able to target mentally slow suckers like Don-Old, the grifter.
Last week, it was crypto and this week, it’s gold(plated) watches. Who can forget his NFTs, aka digital trading cards or his gold(plated) sneakers. But, the his true genius is sucking dollars out of the pockets of the gullible, the foolish and the naive. Except for his gold plated watches. Initial reports are that Russia, North Korea and other non-aligned countries have placed orders for hundreds of these fake watches. If 5 rouge nations each buys 100 watches, TFG pockets $50 million. That kind of bribery will get you any policy Putin or Fat Un or the Ayatollah wants.
Of course, the rest of the GQP (grand quristian party) 
has taken note of how dimwitted Republican voters are, especially rural GQPers who are ready to buy TFG digital trading cards and non-copyrighted old testament bibles. In Virginia, a GQP candidate borrowed his friend’s wife and three kids for a campaign photo. I guess that goes hand-in-hand with GQP disdain for women and kids, as far as GQP is concerned, they’re just interchangeable breeding stock.
An acquaintance recently mentioned his recent high school graduate daughter didn’t want to go to college. I agreed there are many career opportunities without a college degree and the real value of a college degree was to learn critical thinking skills. I could see he didn’t really agree or understand what I meant so I dropped it. Now, his daughter is working two jobs, one as a school lunch lady and a second as a retail clerk. It’s hard to see how she’ll afford a home or baby in the future.
